Profile Of Prof. Naail Mohammed Kamil

Prof. Naail Mohammed Kamil is presently the Head of Department, for the Department of Human Resource & Organisational Development, School of Business, since January 2022. He is a well-motivated academic professional with intense passion for seeking and sharing knowledge, through edge cutting research and teaching.

He is a renowned scholar with his outstanding contributions in Islamic Management and Islamic Banking & Finance. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Comparative Study in Organisational Behaviour – Conventional and Islamic) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) (2012), MBA (Islamic Banking & Finance) from IIUM (2009), and a BSc in Geological Engineering from the then KNUST – School of Mines, currently the George Grant University of Mines and Technology (2006).

He has a firm background in Islamic Theology from Al-Azhariyya School in Kumasi, Ghana, and a certified Hafiz (memorizer) of Al-Qur’an with Distinction, certified by the Al-Muntada Al-Islami in London, UK. He teaches courses both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas including Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, Comparative Business Ethics, Human Resource Management, General Management, Cross Cultural Management, Operations Management, Decision Science, Quantitative Decision Making, Research Methods, Advanced Quantitative and Qualitative Research, among others.
